To The Rescue Bookkeeping started in 2006 in a small apartment. Hope Blankenship, Owner and Bookkeeper, started her own company with a dream and determination. In January 2007, Hope hired her first employee, Amber Berry, who is now Co-Owner of To The Rescue, and the company hasn’t stopped growing since. Now in its thirteenth year of business, To The Rescue Bookkeeping has a total of 8 employees spread across 4 states, with 2 field offices located in Biloxi Mississippi, and Wichita Kansas.
At To The Rescue, we believe in continuing education. That’s why all of our employees are required to get their QuickBooks Pro-Advisor Certifications withing a year of employment. Hope is a registered tax preparer with the IRS, she has all of her QuickBooks certifications, and in 2019 received her Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certification. Hope is also an alumni of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program as of January 2015, and has been featured in South Mississippi Living Magazine for her success as a small business owner.
To The Rescue Bookkeeping has faced adversity over the last 13 years. Economic downturn is always hard on small businesses, but To The Rescue has been able to maintain consistent growth of at least 20k-30k in sales each year. We believe this is attributed to the hard work and dedication of each of our employees, keeping a positive attitude and giving back to the community. That’s why To The Rescue stays involved in the local community. Hope is the Treasurer of the Gulf Coast Non-Violence Center and United MSD, and all of our employees are actively involved in the their communities throughout the year.
Making money has never been the top priority for To The Rescue Bookkeeping, that’s why we keep our prices low, and also provide our clients with QuickBooks training so they can learn to grow their own businesses and save themselves money. We care about you and your business!
