To The Rescue Bookkeeping offers full-service bookkeeping, payroll, training, and new startup business consulting services. We work with each client individually to tailor our services to meet their needs and budget. We have a heart and a passion for small businesses and their growth.

To The Rescue, Bookkeeping started in 2006 in a small apartment. Hope Blankenship, Owner, and Bookkeeper, started her own company with a dream and determination. In January 2007, Hope hired her first employee, Amber Berry, who is now Co-Owner of To The Rescue, and the company hasn’t stopped growing since. Meagan Reynolds became a partner at To The Rescue in 2022 after working there since 2018. Now in its seventeenth year of business, To The Rescue Bookkeeping has a total of 9 employees spread across 4 states, with 2 field offices located in Biloxi Mississippi, and Wichita Kansas.

At To The Rescue, we believe in continuing education and career growth. That’s why all of our employees are required to get their QuickBooks Pro-Advisor Certifications within a year of employment. Hope is a registered tax preparer with the IRS, she also has several QuickBooks certifications, and in 2019 received her Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certification. Hope is also an alumni of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program as of January 2015, and has been featured in South Mississippi Living Magazine for her success as a small business owner. In 2011 she also won SBA National Entrepreneur Award for the state of Mississippi.

To The Rescue Bookkeeping has faced adversity over the last 17 years. An economic downturn is always hard on small businesses, but To The Rescue has been able to maintain consistent growth of at least 30k-50k in sales each year. We believe this is attributed to the hard work and dedication of each of our employees, keeping a positive attitude and giving back to the community! That’s why To The Rescue stays involved in the local community. Hope is the Treasurer of the United MSD Foundation, and all of our employees are actively involved in their communities throughout the year. Hope is also on the board of the local Mississippi Gulfcoast Chamber and is very active as a leader and mentor at her church in Biloxi.

Making money has never been the top priority for To The Rescue Bookkeeping, that’s why we try to keep our prices low but also provide our clients with the best service possible. We work with each client that calls to be able to provide them our services or help educate or train them to be able to do some things on their own to stay compliant with state and federal agencies but also to save them money as they grow. When they grow their business our hope is they remember us and hire us once they can afford a bookkeeper. We love helping small business owners understand their finances and get their businesses organized to be able to do what they love! We care about each client and their business!
